Videoblogs Get Out the Votes?

Videoblogs seem to be the hot new thing for politicians.
Senator John Edwards launched his videoblog on the heels of his successful Podcast and promised he would respond to video questions sent in by viewers.
Boston City Councillor, John Tobin, has been videoblogging since early 2005. His platform: Free Public WiFi!
Another proponent of municipal WiFi, Andrew Rasiej (pronounced Ra-Shay), is running for Public Advocate in New York City. His videoblog certainly made an impression on Mary Hodder, who writes on Napsterization:
He's very cute there with that little slightly embarrassed smile, should get lots of votes! He's on his way to a wifi hearing, where he testifies that wifi in NYC is key to keeping NYC 1st in the world.YES! I want universal wifi. It's like a water. Which should be a municipal utility.
Also, the low res quality of the video gives it that "60's -- we're gonna change the world!" feel.. like we're watching JFK or something!
I love this. Every candidate should have a "man on the street" vlog.
